Automated Stacker Cranes | Solving Material Handling Challenges

Körber’s stacker cranes are designed to increase operational efficiencies, improve accuracy and optimize space by automating the storage and retrieval of goods within your warehouse racking system.

Storing goods in warehouses and distribution centers generates key challenges:

Stacker Cranes

Automated stacker cranes perform the storage and retrieval of goods while working within the racking system.

Travelling automatically along aisles, Körber’s stacker cranes are designed to efficiently handle the storage and retrieval of palletized goods in high-bay warehouses. They are highly efficient when it comes to stacking pallets in high-density storage racking solutions.

Our automated stacker cranes offer much greater capacity, load and height capabilities than manually operated forklifts, for example, and are significantly more accurate, ensuring error-free, smooth, fast and safe storage and retrieval operations.

Controlled by a warehouse management system, Körber stacker cranes can easily be adapted to the specific needs of your warehouse. Our modular stacker cranes can be configured in terms of size, load capacity, building height and cycle times, and can be made suitable for a wide range of applications.

Key benefits

Our range of miniloads and stacker cranes can operate with diverse loads, from 1kg to 5000kg, and can be arranged in single or multiple deep storage configurations. They can reach storage locations up to 50m high and achieve speeds up to 6m/s.

Our crane systems can be specifically designed to operate in special working conditions, such as freezing, high humidity and clean or harsh environments.

As well as generating greater operational efficiencies across your warehouse, Körber’s reliable and flexible stacker cranes are designed to meet the latest industry requirements for energy efficiency.

The Körber difference

Körber offers a comprehensive suite of industry-leading stacker cranes, and our experts will work with you to determine the best solution for your exact storage requirements. We pride ourselves on our technology leadership in the supply chain logistics industry, and our in-house R&D department is continually exploring the next generation of state-of-the-art automation.
